Tahoe Fire Update
As nerve racking as the last few weeks have been for everyone here in Tahoe, we are starting to see a light at the end of this smokey tunnel. We're happy to report that both the Dixie Fire as well as the Caldor fire have seen significant improvement in containment with the Dixie fire now at 59% contained and the Caldor fire now 50% contained. El Dorado County as of September 5th has lifted the evacuation mandate for Tahoma and residents have been allowed to return to their homes in a safe environment.
Below is a screen shot of the Cal Fire website showing containment as of 9/8/21. Click on the image to be directed to the website.

We can't thank our local fire departments and law enforcement agencies enough for working relentlessly around the clock to keep everyone safe. Many efforts have been made to raise funds for the victims of these fires and it's been extremely heartwarming to see the Tahoe community come together and offer up rooms for evacuee's, fostering of pets and space for storage.
Click here if you would like to donate to help rebuild and restore what's been lost for those in our South Lake communities.

As always, thank you for your support and stay safe out there.
