Feed the Horses in Tahoe

If you are looking for a free fun thing to do... Show up at any of the local stables and bring carrots. I usually show up around 5:30 at Alpine Meadows. Bringing Carrots is a great way to have your kids learn about larger animals without the cost of a trail ride or the time.  There are also horse back riding camps for kids here at Tahoe.
